The Rapid Support Forces launched an attack on the city of El Fasher for (3) consecutive days from Thursday, September 12 until Saturday, September 14, accompanied by an indiscriminate shelling. On Thursday, September 12, the city witnessed a fierce battle that lasted (7) hours. According to reports, the armed forces and the joint forces were able to repel the attack. On September 13th, coinciding with the attack in the city of El Fasher, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) invaded Sayyah area of Mellit locality in North Darfur, about 100 km northeast of El Fasher.
