On the morning of Wednesday, August 14, 2024, the "Rapid Support Forces” launched an intense and indiscriminate bombardment on the city of El Obeid, the capital of North Kordofan, using "Katyusha" shells (non-guided missiles), which resulted in heavy loss of life and property, and the SAF responded to the attack by bombing the locations of the RSF stations.
