November 2024 Report

Humanitarian violations escalated in November 2024, with widespread human rights abuses resulting from RSF operations and repeated airstrikes by the SAF. In Gezira state, the RSF imposed a siege on certain cities, leading to numerous casualties. In Khartoum, RSF-controlled areas witnessed looting, abductions, and arbitrary arrests. Additionally, Sennar and Northern provinces saw targeted killings and torture of civilians. SAF airstrikes further worsened the situation, causing significant civilian casualties and damage to both military sites and homes. Below is the November 2024 report compiled by the Youth Citizens Observers Network (YCON) relying on primary and secondary data gathered by its local observers distributed across all states of Sudan, it reflects on social, economic and political implication of war, in addition to asylum and displacement movements, and the condition of the displaced and refugees in camps, from October 27 to November 26, in addition to our recommendations (we youth) to help solve the Sudanese crisis.
